RAYMOND -- Michael Ray Meyer, 38, of Raymond died Wednesday from injuries sustained in a truck accident near Pennock.
The service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Bunde Christian Reformed Church in Raymond. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday and for one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorials are preferred. Arrangements are with the Tri-County Funeral Home in Prinsburg.
He was born April 14, 1969, in Willmar to Ray and Rose (Nieuwbeerta) Meyer. He grew up near Raymond. He attended the Central Minnesota Christian School for nine years and graduated from Raymond High School in 1987. He also attended one year at the Alexandria Vo-tech.

He married Justina Perez on June 11, 1988. They lived near Raymond and moved to the Meyer family farm in 1999. He worked for a time at Tensen Marine in Raymond then for PrinsCo in Prinsburg for a couple of years and ten years for the Prinsburg Co-op. For the last four years, he worked as a shop manager for Vreeman Construction. He also owned and operated M & M Repair since finishing school.
He was a member of Bunde Christian Reformed Church, where he was a deacon and a church school teacher. He was a past member of the Raymond Volunteer Fire Department and a member of the Prinsburg Volunteer Fire Department at the time of his death.
He is survived by his wife; a son: Ryan Meyer of Raymond; three daughters: Samantha Meyer of St. Paul, Alexis and Taylor Meyer of Raymond; his parents of Prinsburg; three sisters: Carla (and Dan) Grice of Rockford, Mich., Tara (and Craig) Madsen of Cresco, Iowa and Beth (and Darrin) Adams of Middleville, Mich.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
