ALEXANDRIA -- Mildred "Millie" Estenson, 84, of Alexandria died Tuesday at the Bethany Home in Alexandria.
The service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Our Redeemer's Lutheran Church in Benson. Arrangements are by Zniewski Funeral Home of Benson.
She was born Oct. 6, 1923, in Starbuck to Engebret and Magda (Mortenson) Braaten. She grew up in Starbuck where she attended school.
She married Clint Estenson on April 17, 1948, in Pope County. She worked as a waitress in Glenwood at Setter's drugstore and sold Avon in the 1970s. They lived in Alexandria and then Benson. They returned to Alexandria in 2003.
She was a member of Our Redeemer's Lutheran Church in Benson, where she served as a Sunday school teacher, was in ladies circle and helped with the church smorgasbord.

She is survived by three daughters: Mary (and Ray) Yaeger of Hastings, Susan (and Daryl) Johnson of Wayzata, and Connie (and Troy) Schnitzler of Alexandria; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a son-in-law: Gary Bauerly of Rice.
She was preceded in death by her husband; a daughter: Karen Bauerly; a son: Tom Estenson, two sisters and a brother.
