GLENWOOD -- Mildred M. Reed, 92, of Glenwood died Sunday at Glenwood Village Care Center in Glenwood.
The service will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. John's Lutheran Church in Villard. Burial will be at the Glenwood Lutheran Church Cemetery in Glenwood.
Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday. Arrangements are with Hoplin-Hitchcock Funeral Home in Glenwood.
She was born Sept. 24, 1914, in Alexandria to James and Myrtle (Madison) Parrish. She attended school in Alexandria.

She married Harold Reed on March 24, 1934, in Glenwood. They farmed east of Glenwood, and she worked at area retirement homes for many years in Sauk Center and Glenwood. She received her practical nursing degree in 1961 from the School of Nursing in Chicago, Ill. She moved to Glen Haven Manor and later to Park View Court, then to the Glenwood Retirement Home.
She is survived by her sons: Harold (and Leona) of Truman, Ronald (and Mary Lou) of Osakis, Gerald (and Cheryl) of Glendale, Ariz.; nine grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; one grandchild; and two brothers.
