WILLMAR - Milling on state Highway 67 in Granite Falls will begin Tuesday. Paving will begin the following week, the Minnesota Department of Transportation announced in a news release.
A mill and overlay project - and also improvements under the Americans with Disabilities Act - on Highway 67 and U.S. Highway 212 in Granite Falls began July 20. The ADA improvements are complete.
Motorists traveling on Highway 67 from U.S. Highway 75 to Highway 212 near Granite Falls and Highway 212 from Highway 67 to state Highway 23 in Granite Falls may encounter minor delays as crews will be resurfacing the road.
Traffic will be directed through the work zone by flaggers and a pilot car.
Mark Sand and Gravel Co. of Fergus Falls is the prime contractor for the $5.6 million project.
MnDOT said the project is scheduled to be complete by Oct. 15.
