WILLMAR -- The Minnesota Board on Aging is reminding the public that income and asset levels for the Minnesota Food Support program have changed, meaning more individuals may now be eligible for the program.
Income limits have been increased from 135 percent to 165 percent of the federal poverty guideline. The threshold is now $1,490 a month for a single adult and $2,004 for a couple. The asset limit for the program has also been eliminated.
