MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - The mother of one of the three people shot on the north side of Minneapolis says her daughter is about to give birth.

Nineteen-year-old Trenay Garner, a 14-month-old girl and 17-year-old boy were shot outside a home about 5:30 p.m. Tuesday. Police are still searching for a male suspect.

Samiera Garner says her daughter was shot in the leg and has been released from the hospital. She says her unborn grandchild is OK.

Police say the toddler was shot in the shoulder and is a niece to the 17-year-old. The Star Tribune ( http://bit.ly/183wev4 ) says they were taken to North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale.
