RED WING - Goodhue Fire Chief Michael Kehren was killed during in a tractor trailer accident following the July 4 Firefighter’s Dance in Wanamingo.
Kehren, 58, had been riding on one of two wagons being pulled by a tractor when he fell off of the tow bar between the wagons and was run over by the second wagon.
He was pronounced dead at the scene. The Goodhue County Sheriff’s Office, Wanamingo First Responders, Zumbrota Ambulance, Zumbrota police and Mayo One responded to the accident.
