Minnesota's gas prices continue to reach new heights heading into the Memorial Day weekend.
According to the Web site minnesotagasprices.com, the average cost of a gallon of regular unleaded in the state is $3.84.
That compares with $3.44 a gallon just a month ago. Gas prices in Minnesota are 55 cents a gallon higher than a year ago.
Nationally, the average price of a gallon of regular gas rose to $3.83 on Thursday, according to a survey of stations by AAA and the Oil Price Information Service.
