In addition to the case of Daniel Newville , who has been missing since 2002, there are three other "missing persons" cases from west central Minnesota listed in the statewide database.
Theodore Dengerud:
Theodore Dengerud disappeared while traveling unfamiliar roads near Swift Falls on April 3, 1982. He was on his way to pick up his wife, Denise, from her sister’s house and never arrived.
Law enforcement conducted air and ground searches, but only found his vehicle with a cracked windshield on the passenger side, according to Tribune archives.
Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office Detective Kent Bauman said Dengerud’s case has not generated many leads. The lack of information poses the biggest challenge for missing persons cases, especially those that have grown cold, he said.
Dengerud had lived in rural New London and was 30 years old at the time of his disappearance. He would now be 63 and was described as a 5-foot-8-inch white male, weighing 185 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.
Janet Kramer:
Janet Kramer was 13 years old and staying at a group home in Willmar at the time of her disappearance Jan. 1, 1971. She had gone to visit family members, and that was the last time family members saw her.
“She had gone for a visit to family members, who had no record of hearing from her after that,” Bauman said.
Kramer would now be 57 years old and was described at the time as being a 5-foot white female, weighing 110 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes.

Mark Duane Folz has been missing since Jan. 15, 2003. He drove to the Veterans Administration Medical Center in the Twin Cities on that date and was known to have visited an ATM machine at 1527 E. Lake St. in Minneapolis, according to Tribune archives.
Sergeant Chad Nelson, former detective for the Willmar Police Department, was previously assigned to this case. While he has followed up information regarding the case, he said there are currently no active leads.
“The last known use of any type of credit card was an ATM card in the metro area,” Nelson said. “Since then, we have not located the vehicle or him.”
Folz is from Willmar and was 49 years old at the time of his disappearance. He would now be 61 years old.
He was described as being a 6-foot-1-inch white male, weighing 250 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes. Folz has prosthetic lower legs and a “tear drop” tattoo below his right eye on his cheek.
He was last seen driving a 1991 maroon Ford Taurus with a license plate number of DTC-675. The vehicle also went missing at the time of his disappearance.
