Montevideo man injured in Wednesday rollover crash in Big Stone County

Jeremy L Shourds, 41, was traveling eastbound on Highway 7 near mile marker 12 in a 2006 Ford pickup when he lost control, overturned and left the roadway into the eastbound ditch. He was transported to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

FOSTER TOWNSHIP — A Montevideo man suffered non-life-threatening injuries following a vehicle rollover around 10:08 a.m. Wednesday on Minnesota Highway 7, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

According to the accident report, Jeremy L Shourds, 41, was traveling eastbound on Highway 7 near mile marker 12 in a 2006 Ford pickup when he lost control, overturned and left the roadway into the eastbound ditch.

Shourds was transported to Ortonville Hospital by Ortonville Ambulance.

According to the State Patrol, Shourds was wearing a seat belt, alcohol was not involved and road conditions were dry.

The Big Stone County Sheriff's Office, Beardsley Fire Department and Beardsley First Responders also responded to the incident.
