WILLMAR -- A 63-year-old Willmar man was injured Monday evening after the moped he was driving collided with a Jeep Cherokee along 19th Avenue Southeast.
Melissa G. Bengtson, 40, of Pennock was attempting a make a left turn from 19th Avenue Southeast into the Kandi Mall parking lot when her Jeep collided with the moped driven by James M. Felcyn. Felcyn was also attempting to make a left turn from the parking lot and pulled out in front of Bengtson.
The Willmar Police Department and Willmar Ambulance responded to the crash around 4:35 p.m.
Bengtson was uninjured in the accident. Felcyn suffered minor injuries but did not go to Rice Memorial Hospital. Both vehicles suffered minor damages.
