Assault
WILLMAR -- A 22-year-old Willmar woman was arrested for domestic assault by Willmar police around 6:45 p.m. Wednesday at an apartment complex on the 400 block of Lakeland Drive. According to the incident report, the male caller said his girlfriend punched him and threw his personal items all over the apartment.
WILLMAR -- A 36-year-old Willmar man was arrested for domestic assault around 1:30 a.m. Thursday from the 400 block of 30th Street Northwest. The female caller indicated during her 911 call that "she is sick of her husband hitting her" but declined an ambulance.
Fire calls
WILLMAR -- A fire call was reported around 3 a.m. Thursday from an apartment complex on the 1200 block of 24th Street Northwest. According to the incident report, the caller indicated that fires were made in the dumpsters of two neighboring apartment complexes. A red 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix was damaged by one of the dumpster fires.
