WILLMAR -- Another round of vandalism to windows at businesses and vehicles occurred sometime late Tuesday or early Wednesday in Willmar, bringing the total number of similar incidents to 16 in the last five days. Some of the incidents to specific businesses involved multiple windows. All were shot at with a BB or pellet gun, according to Willmar police.
Incidents were reported Wednesday morning at the following locations.
* Skylark Mall on South First Street.
* Perkins Lumber on 10th Street Northwest.
* J.C. Penney in the Kandi Mall, where four windows were shot at. This was the second incident at J.C. Penney.

* Thompson's Ladies Fashions on Fourth Street Southwest.
* A vehicle window in the 3000 block of Seventh Street Northwest.
Damage was also reported early Wednesday near the grandstand at the Kandiyohi County Fairgrounds, another vehicle window was broken in the 500 block of Ninth Street Northwest, and a car was damaged in the parking lot of Wendy's on South First Street, but there was no indication that these incidents involved guns.
Officers have stepped up their surveillance in attempts to apprehend the individuals, according to Willmar police.
