Multicultural market board of directors

The new slate of officers for the Willmar Area Multicultural Market board of directors:

Chairman: Idalia "Charly" Leuze, West Central Integration Collaborative.

Vice chairman: Kathy Schwantes, Kandiyohi County and City of Willmar Economic Development Commission.

Secretary: Antonio Tejeda, attorney.

Treasurer: Randy Suter, Heartland Community Action Agency.

Also on the board:

Roberto Valdez, project coordinator, West Central Integration Collaborative; John Flory, Latino Economic Development Center; Rick Goodeman and Jorge Lopez, Southwest Minnesota Housing Partnership.

As tenants are recruited and the market opens, tenant representatives will join the board and eventually will comprise most or all of the board's membership.
