MURDOCK -- The Friday morning fire that severely damaged the Murdock Bar & Grill is under investigation by the State Fire Marshal's office and the Swift County Sheriff's Office.
The fire was reported to the sheriff's office around 12:25 a.m. Friday. The Murdock, Kerkhoven, DeGraff and Benson fire departments responded to fight the fire and remained on the scene until 6 a.m., according to a news release from Scott Mattison, Swift County sheriff.
The fire marshals were called to investigate and were on the scene from 2:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The business was unoccupied at the time. The building sustained severe damage. There were no reported injuries. The bar and grill is owned by Gerald Kramber of Murdock.
