Myrtle A. Zeppelin

DARWIN -- Myrtle Ardina Zeppelin, 83, of Darwin, died Friday at the Emmanuel Home in Litchfield.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Gethsemane Lutheran Church in Dassel. Burial will be at the Dassel Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Johnson Funeral Home in Dassel and one hour prior to the service at the church.

She was born May 6, 1922, in Corvuso to Andrew and Dina (Nelson) Beckstrand. She spent her childhood on the family farm and graduated from Litchfield High School. She attended Beauty College in St. Paul and became a licensed beautician.
She married Henry Zeppelin on Dec. 3, 1943. They farmed near Darwin. She also worked at National Connecter Corp. in Cokato for 25 years, retiring in 1991.
She is survived by her children: Wayne (and Katherine) Zeppelin of Darwin, Everet (and Marjorie) Zeppelin of Darwin, DiAnn (and Robert) Schmitz of Cokato and Harlow (and Cheri Bialke) Zeppelin of Grand Rapids; five grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; siblings: Andrew (and Janice) Beckstrand of Delano, Benjamin (and Connie) Beckstrand of Carrollton, Texas, Alice (and Clifford) Dahlman of Dassel, and Betty Mattson of Dassel; and sister-in-law: Lois Beckstrand.
She was preceded in death by her husband; infant daughter: Donna Mae; three brothers; and two sisters.
