BELVIEW -- Naomi Wilma Sinnott, 89, of Belview, formerly of rural Redwood Falls, died Tuesday at Parkview Home in Belview.

The service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Grace Lutheran Church in Belview. Burial will be at the Belview Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Sunset Funeral Home in Echo and for one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday.

She was born Oct. 31, 1916, in Vesta Township, Redwood County, to Vernon and Anna (Busack) Anderson. She attended country school, Vesta Public School, and graduated from Redwood Falls High School in 1934. She attended normal school and received her teaching certificate. She taught in country schools near Vesta, Belview and Delhi.

She married James Sinnott on June 6, 1942, near Vesta. They lived and farmed on the Sinnott family, which became a Century Farm in 2005. They moved to Park Wood Apartments in Belview in 2005.

She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Belview and active in the ladies aid, circles and as a Sunday school teacher. She also belonged to the Belview Civic Club, Homemakers Extension Club and a birthday club.

She is survived by her husband; daughter: Jamie (and Bruce) Rigge Redwood Falls; three grandsons and two sisters: Lois Larson of Marshall and Carol (and Frank) Bridges of Austin.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
