A tornado watch is in effect for much of Minnesota until 1 a.m., including Kandiyohi County.
A tornado was spotted just after 6 p.m. about 32 miles east of Fergus Falls, according to the National Weather Service. Wadena and northeastern Ottertail Counties are under a tornado warning until 6:30 p.m. tonight.
