Kacy Nehowig, a freshman distance runner at North Iowa Area Community College, qualified for the NJCAA nationals after finishing fourth April 26 in the 5,000-meter run at an event in Dubuque, Iowa.
The Paynesville native is currently ranked 19th in the nation and will be competing in the outdoor track and field nationals next weekend in Lewellen, Texas.
