MAPLEWOOD -- Neva C. Olson, 72, of Maplewood, formerly of Raymond, died Monday after a battle with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Andrew's Lutheran Church in Mahtomedi. Burial will be at Union Cemetery in Maplewood.
Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements are with Johnson-Peterson Funeral Home in White Bear Lake. Memorials are preferred to the American Diabetes Association.
She was born Dec. 25, 1933, in Raymond to Arthur and Esther Myers. She grew up in Raymond.

She married Earl Olson. She worked for the U.S. Postal Service for 30 years.
She is survived by her husband; children: Laurie Olson, Wendy (and Matt) Uzpen, Bonnie (and Craig) Olson; seven grandchildren; and siblings: Doris Hanson, Arlene Warren, and Glenn (and Phyllis) Myers.
