Becky and Jesse Knudsen of Fargo, N.D., announce the birth of their son, Ethan Alan, on Aug. 21 at Merit Care Hospital in Fargo.

Ethan weighed 9 pounds, 9 ounces and was 20½ inches long.

Grandparents are Bob and Nancy Kulseth and Gary and Laurie Knudsen, all of Spicer.

Great-grandparents are Richard and Mildred Evans and Thelma Kulseth, all of Appleton, Gordon and Marilyn Knudsen of Kandiyohi and Lila Mauland of Cottonwood.

Rich Becker

Shannon and Dale Becker of Willmar announce the birth of their son, Rich Mathias, on Sept. 18 at Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar.

Rich weighed 8 pounds, 5 ounces and was 21 inches long. He was welcomed home by sister Caroline, 16 months.

Grandparents are Dona and Dudley Becker of Spicer and Judy and Rollie Boll of Willmar.

Great-grandparents are Dorothy Boll of Willmar and Louise Novotny-Stokes of Buffalo.

Emma Whitmore

Lynae and Timothy Whitmore of Atwater announce the birth of their daughter, Emma Marie Christine, on Sept. 20 at Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar.

Emma weighed 6 pounds, 5 ounces and was 19½ inches long. She was welcomed home by sister Brianna, 8.

Grandparents are Tim and Laura Whitmore of Preston, Idaho, and Duaine and Joyce Kalkbrenner of Atwater.

Great-grandmother is Lydia Kalkbrenner of Atwater.

Ella Kienitz

Mary and Kraig Kienitz of Raymond announce the birth of their daughter, Ella Jacqueline, on Sept. 14 at Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar.

Ella weighed 6 pounds, 9 ounces and was 20 inches long. She was welcomed home by siblings Kier, 13, Kendra, 11, and Karissa, 11.

Grandparents are Elmer and Joyce Kienitz of Raymond and David and Phylliss Johnson of Bovey.

Great-grandmother is Gertrude Crawford of Diamondville, Wyo.

Tera and Allen Gades of Montevideo announce the birth of their son, Tyler Steven, on Sept. 20 at Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar.

Tyler weighed 10 pounds, 3 ounces and was 22 inches long.

Chase Borene

Lisa and Charlie Borene of Chaska announce the birth of their son, Chase Paul, on Aug. 25 at Fairview-Southdale Hospital in Edina.

Chase weighed 8 pounds, 8 ounces and was 20 inches long. He was welcomed home by sister Marissa, 19 months.

Landry weighed 6 pounds, 13 ounces and was 19 inches long. She was welcomed home by sibling Jaxon, 6.

Austin weighed 8 pounds, 2 ounces and was 20 inches long.
