WILLMAR -- A 57-year-old New London man was arrested on charges of first-degree burglary and second-degree assault after a home burglary around 12:30 a.m. this morning in the southeast quadrant of Willmar.
According to a news release from Police Sargent Michael Anderson, Terry Kohls was arrested without incident and is in custody at the Kandiyohi County Jail.
The arrest came after officers were called to the 600 block of Ninth Street Southeast. There they learned that Kohls had allegedly entered a home without permission and threatened two people with a crowbar. He fled the scene but was located a short time later.
