New London-Spicer tumbles Albany, 85-49

NEW LONDON -- The New London-Spicer defense held Albany to 16 first-half points, then cruised to an 85-49 West Central North Conference boys basketball win Tuesday.

NEW LONDON -- The New London-Spicer defense held Albany to 16 first-half points, then cruised to an 85-49 West Central North Conference boys basketball win Tuesday.

The Wildcats held the Huskies to 33 percent (18 of 54) shooting from the floor and no three-pointers. NLS also dominated the boards, 46-29.

Wade Powers posted a double-double of 12 points and 14 rebounds for New London-Spicer. Skylar Wachter led the team in scoring with 18 points and Jordan Radel added 13.
