ST. CLOUD -- The annual state convention of the Minnesota National Farmers Organization is Dec. 4 at the Coyote Moon Restaurant on the Territory Golf Course east of St. Cloud.
The convention is from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with lunch provided at noon.
The guest speaker for the afternoon session is Robert Sip of the Minnesota Department of Agriculture. Sip was a member of the Minnesota Agriculture and Rural Leadership program recent trip to Cuba.
Other speakers include staff member Travis Parsons on grain issues, Robert Hendrickson on livestock and Brad Rach, director of the national dairy department, on the latest in the dairy industry.
Paul Sobocinski, Wabasso, will give a legislative report and Carmen Fernholz of Madison will give a report on organic grain production and marketing.
