Melanie Nisley and Cody Nelson were united in marriage July 10 at First Lutheran Church in Renville.
The bride is the daughter of Jodene Nisley of Lincoln, Neb., and Gregg Nisley of Oakland, Iowa. The groom is the son of Alan and Crystal Nelson of Renville.
Maids of honor were Tona Wolf and Angela Farmer, friends of the bride. Bride's attendants were Jen Nelson, Kristy Nelson and Shelly Nelson, sisters-in-law of the groom; and Heather Bruns, friend of the couple. Flower girl was Amelia Ann Tersteeg-Nelson, daughter of the groom.
Best men were Derek Jungels and Chris Anderson, friends of the groom. Groom's attendants were Christopher Nelson, Corey Nelson and Troy Nelson, brothers of the groom, and Anthony Nisley, brother of the bride. Ring bearer was Dalton Nelson, nephew of the groom.
Ushers were Doug Bruns and Jeff Morris, friends of the couple, and Kyle Sage, Luke Sannerud and Ryan Knuth, friends of the groom.

A reception and dance were held at the Renville Community Center.
The couple lives in Renville where the groom is a partner in JDMC Cattle Company and is a territory sales manager for Big Gain Inc. in Mankato. The bride is the owner and operator of Elite Salon in Danube.
