The New London-Spicer boys basketball team was one of eight Minnesota high school basketball teams to be named a Minnesota Lynx Team of the Week, which was released Tuesday.
The Wildcats improved to 7-1 after beating Willmar 79-72 in the title game of the Bremer Bank Holiday Classic Thursday. NLS has won its last four games and will open 2008 by hosting Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted on Friday.
The Lynx Team of the Week program selects one boys and girls team from each of the state's four classes each week of the regular season.
