The New London-Spicer softball team is scheduled to open the season today in Eden Valley-Watkins at 4:30 p.m.
If the game is played, it will be the first outdoor event of the spring by an area prep team.
A call to both schools Thursday confirmed the game was still scheduled to be played.
The Ridgewater baseball and softball teams played games in Florida in mid-March. But the Lady Warriors' season opener at UM-Morris was postponed Thursday and their home opener against Central Lakes today wa also postponed.
