MADISON - A man found unresponsive in his vehicle on Christmas Eve died before law enforcement arrived on the scene, the Lac qui Parle County Sheriff's Office has reported.
The Sheriff's Office was notified around 8 p.m. Monday of an unresponsive male in a motor vehicle in the area of County Road 18 and 411th Avenue west of Montevideo. Deputies responded but found the individual had died.
The Sheriff's Office said no foul play is suspected but an autopsy is being conducted by the Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office. The investigation is ongoing, Sheriff Allen Anderson said Wednesday.
The Lac qui Parle County Sheriff's Office was assisted at the scene by the Chippewa County Sheriff's Office and Lac qui Parle County coroner.
