WILLMAR -- No injuries were reported as the result of train and passenger vehicle collision Wednesday evening northwest of Willmar.
Zachary Ronald Morris, 22, of Willmar was reportedly driving southbound around 8 p.m. on 45th Street Northwest in a Saturn Ion when his vehicle crossed over a BNSF railway. His vehicle collided with a BNSF train traveling westbound, according to a news release issued by the Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Office.
Neither Morris nor any of the occupants of the BNSF train were injured.
Assisting the Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Office were the Minnesota State Patrol, Willmar Police Department and Willmar Ambulance Service.
