No one injured in collision

WILLMAR -- No one was seriously injured in a two-vehicle collision at 10 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of Willmar Avenue Southeast and Second Street.

WILLMAR -- No one was seriously injured in a two-vehicle collision at 10 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of Willmar Avenue Southeast and Second Street.

A 2006 Chevrolet Impala driven by Marco Vazquez, 17, of Willmar, and a 2001 Pontiac, driven by Mahad Hassan, 16, of Willmar, were involved.

The Impala had stopped quickly to make a left turn when the Pontiac struck it from behind. The cars were part of a procession of cars following Homecoming activities.

There were five occupants in the Impala and two in the Pontiac. The drivers and passengers were shaken up in the collision, but no serious injuries were reported.
