GRAND MARAIS -- Willmar's Phil Cleary competed in the Cook County Invitational pursuit race Friday.
He finished 49th out of 94 in the 5.5-kilometer classical race in 21:22.5 and 22nd in the 5.7-kilometer freestyle out of 97 in 16:13.7. His total time was 37:36, finishing 37th out of 77.
