Jake Nordin, who was recently signed to the New York Giants' practice squad, was released Tuesday when the team added tight end Jereome Collin, a 2005 fifth-round draft pick of the St. Louis Rams.
Nordin had originally signed a free agent contract out of Northern Illinois University with the New England Patriots, but was cut and picked up by the Washington Redskins where he spent all preseason before being released and signed by the Giants.
