MASON CITY, Iowa -- The Ridgewater College wrestling team got wins in each of their last three matches, but fell to Northern Iowa Community College, 35-15, in non-conference action Wednesday night.
"It was the first time for some of these kids," said Tom Beyer, in his first season as head coach at Ridgewater. "I was impressed with how hard our kids wrestled. It was a good dual for us as far as a measuring stick."
Scott Thompson picked up the Warriors' first points with a pin at 174 pounds. Trent Molacek followed with a 18-1 technical fall victory at 184 pounds and Warriors heavyweight Seth McGregor won by major decision.
