WILLMAR -- Norton Erling Pederson, 64, of Willmar died Saturday at his home in Willmar.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Bethel Lutheran Church in Willmar. Burial will be at Bethel Lutheran Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Harvey Anderson Funeral Home in Willmar and for one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday.
He was born June 28, 1942, in Barnesville to Ernest and Cora (Walen) Pederson. They lived in Arthur, N.D., and moved to Cokato in 1951. They moved to Willmar in 1957. He graduated from Willmar High School in 1960. He received a bachelor's degree from Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter. He enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and was stationed at Kincheloe Air Force Base in Michigan. He was honorably discharged in 1967 and returned to Willmar in 1972.

He was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church in Willmar where he served for many years on Bethel's Mission Committee and served as chairman for a number of years.
He is survived by his mother of Willmar; siblings: Eileen (and Carl) Lund of Wauwatosa, Wis., Barry (and Terri) Pederson of Roseville; and four nieces.
He was preceded in death by his father.
