Fatal accident
MORTON -- A Redwood Falls man was killed Tuesday morning in a two-vehicle accident six miles northwest of Morton.
According to the Renville County Sheriff's Department, Peter Malecek, 63, of Redwood Falls was driving a 1989 Ford pickup truck when he collided with a 1990 Dodge pickup truck driven by Lee Guggisberg, 64, of Morton.
Malecek was dead at the scene. Guggisberg and his passenger, Dean Guggisberg, 24, of Morton, had moderate injuries and were taken to the Redwood County Hospital where they were treated.
The accident occurred at the intersection of 320th Street and 720th Avenue in Renville County.

SPICER -- A stereo was reported stolen from a vehicle Tuesday night at the 11000 block of Indian Beach Road.
