The Willmar Cardinals face a must-win game tonight at Fergus Falls to remain in contention in the Central Lakes Conference girls basketball race.
Willmar (10-2) and the Otters (9-2) each have two CLC losses and are chasing St. Cloud Tech (11-1). Fergus Falls beat Willmar 42-37 on Dec. 16, but the Cardinals had four players injured at the time.
The Otters have won five straight since back-to-back losses to Tech and St. Cloud Apollo. Willmar is riding a six-game win streak.
