PAYNESVILLE -- Oleen "Ole" Sonstegard, 92, of Paynesville died Wednesday at the Paynesville Area Hospital.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Paynesville Lutheran Church in Paynesville. Burial will be at Crow River Lutheran Church in rural Belgrade.
Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday at the church and for one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday. Arrangements are with Johnson Funeral Home in Paynesville. Memorials are preferred to the family for Camp Courage.
He was born Nov. 26, 1914, in Georgeville to Peter and Selma (Stenerson) Sonstegard. He attended the business agriculture program at the University of Minnesota and graduated in 1941.

He married Margaret Wilcox on July 3, 1943, in Anoka. He joined Marshall Foods in 1960 and they lived in Paynesville for over 40 years. He was a farmer.
He was a member of Paynesville Lutheran Church and served on the governing board. He also was a member of the hospital board.
He is survived by his wife; children: Judie (and Harry) Buerman, Jean Wentzel, James (and Kathy) Sonstegard, Janet Sonstegard; and nine grandchildren.
