OLIVIA -- The Olivia Police Department wants the public to be aware that, around 3:10 p.m. today, the department received a call about an incident that had occurred earlier, around 1:30 p.m. this afternoon, near 10th Street and Elm Avenue in Olivia.
According to Police Chief Nyla Negen, a young adult female reported that she had been walking on the street and was followed by a man in his 50's with a full head of gray hair, glasses, wearing a black sweatshirt and blue jeans. He was driving an older white Malibu that was very dirty. The man had rolled his window down and demanded that the female get inside of his vehicle. The female had immediately run away from the unknown suspect.
