One person was killed in a one-vehicle accident in Carlton County Sunday.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the person's Honda Civic ran off Minnesota Highway 23 and struck a tree about three miles north of Nickerson. The accident was reported at 5:18 p.m. The State Patrol reports that the road was icy at the time. Authorities have not released the victim's name.
