One injured in one-vehicle crash near Clontarf

CLONTARF - A 25-year-old man from Clontarf was injured in a one-vehicle crash early Wednesday. A 2002 Oldsmobile Alero driven by Sasha N. Delagarza of Benson went off the road at about 2:50 a.m. Wednesday on Minnesota Highway 9 at County Road 22....

CLONTARF - A 25-year-old man from Clontarf was injured in a one-vehicle crash early Wednesday.

A 2002 Oldsmobile Alero driven by Sasha N. Delagarza of Benson went off the road at about 2:50 a.m. Wednesday on Minnesota Highway 9 at County Road 22.

According to a report from the Minnesota State Patrol, Delagarza's vehicle ran off the road on the left side and struck a power pole. He was taken to Swift County Benson Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

According to the report, he was wearing a seatbelt, and his airbag deployed. The road is described at wet at the time of the crash.

The Swift County Sheriff's Office assisted.
