GRANITE FALLS — One person was injured in a crash near Granite Falls early Sunday morning.
The crash occurred shortly after midnight along Highway 67 at 490th Street in Hazel Run Township about five miles west of Granite Falls, when two vehicles traveling west on Highway 67 collided, according to a report from the Minnesota State Patrol.
Ross Charles Kwilinski, 18, of Montevideo, driving a 1995 Ford F-150, was uninjured. A passenger, Tyler Michael Blue, 19, of Montevideo was uninjured, but a 16-year-old boy was transported to Avera Granite Falls Hospital. No information about the boy’s name or injuries was released in the State Patrol report.
The driver of the other vehicle, Matthew Brian Karty, 46, of Clarkfield was also uninjured.
All the people in the vehicles were wearing their seat belts, according to the report. Alcohol was not listed as a factor for either driver.
