WILLMAR - A Spicer woman suffered unknown injuries Wednesday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash in Willmar.

According to the Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Office, Mary Mitchelle-Nestande, 57, of Spicer, was airlifted from the scene by Life Link to St. Cloud Hospital. Timothy Bailey, 57, of Willmar, was not injured.

Authorities were called at 4:07 p.m. Wednesday to a crash at the intersection of Kandiyohi County Road 5 and County Road 27 in Dovre Township. The incident involved a 2008 Ford Escape driven by Mitchelle-Nestande and a 2014 Dodge pickup driven by Bailey.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation by the Sheriff's Office, and no further description of the crash was immediately available.

Assisting the Sheriff's Office and Life Link at the scene were the Minnesota State Patrol, Willmar Ambulance, Pennock Fire and First Responders and the Kandiyohi County Rescue Squad.
