STARBUCK -- Orvald Norris Moen, 82, of Starbuck died Saturday at the Stevens County Medical Center in Morris.
The service will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Fron Lutheran Church in Starbuck. Burial will be at East Zion Lutheran Cemetery in rural Starbuck.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the church and for one hour prior to the service on Wednesday. Arrangements are with Starbuck Funeral Home in Starbuck.
He was born Jan. 4, 1924, in Starbuck to Oscar and Nora (Pederson) Moen. He grew up in Starbuck.

He married Frances V. Larson on July 18, 1954. They farmed from 1954 to 1979 and then moved into Starbuck. He owned and operated his own business until 1990, when he retired.
He is survived by his wife; children: Laurie (and Ron) Kent of Clontarf, Bruce (and Luann) Moen of Benson; two granddaughters; and one sister: Lenora Danielson of Plymouth.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
