WILLMAR -- Oswald Magnar 'Ozzie' Reed, 92, of Willmar died Friday at Rice Care Center in Willmar.

The service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Vinje Lutheran Church in Willmar. Burial will be at Cloverleaf Cemetery in Willmar.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.

He was born March 1, 1916, in Willmar to Anton and Allette (Alsvig) Reed. He built houses with his father and was a carpenter.

He married Geneva Conradeine Swenson on Sept. 28, 1935, in Milbank, S.D. They lived in Willmar. He worked for the Great Northern Railroad with the Bridge and Building Department and later became the supervisor for the cabinetry Shop.

They moved to Eagle Lake in 1954. He retired from the railroad 1978, after 40 years.

He was a member of Vinje Lutheran Church in Willmar and served as an usher. He was a member of the Willmar Camera Club and the Little Crow Lapidary Gem and Mineral Society.

He is survived by three sons: Gerald (and Carolyn) Reed of Willmar, Robert (and Betty) Reed of Denver, Colo., and Ivan (and Heather) Reed of Superior, Wis.; a daughter: Patricia Moore of Las Vegas; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; a brother: George Reed of Willmar; and a sister: Helen Petterson of Lake Lillian.

He was preceded in death by his wife and a brother.
