OWATONNA -- Willmar senior goalie Jessica Lohrman made a school-record 56 saves, but it wasn't enough as Owatonna beat the Cardinals 6-1 in the final game of the Owatonna Invite Thursday.
Lohrman kept the Cardinals (1-12) in the game, but Willmar scored only once after being outshot 62-17.
Willmar sophomore defenseman Emily Kack scored her first-ever varsity goal when she took control of the puck, skated toward the center of the arena and stuffed the puck past Owatonna goalie Emily Bellmore while almost being tackled to the ice with 2:20 left in the second period.
"Jessica played an unbelievable game. She played great," said Willmar coach Ross Dahl. "We worked hard, but we played a good team."
Owatonna (6-6-1) scored in each period, including three in the second to take a comfortable 5-1 lead.

The Storm (5-5) will play the loser of Alexandria-Irondale today.
The Storm were held to just four shots on goal, while MBA goalie Hannah Horecka faced 36.
