WILLMAR -- Marv Packer shot 40-38-42-120 to win his second Valley Golf Senior Club Tournament on Friday. Packer also won in 2004.
Don Nelson, the 2006 champion, and Dave Helfenstein each finished at 122. Helfenstein had a two stroke edge with three holes left but took a pair of double bogeys while Packer parred out to win by two.
The Women's championship is this morning and the men's qualifying in the afternoon with final rounds on Sunday.
