GLENWOOD -- Paul James Tauber, 85, of Glenwood died Saturday at Glacial Ridge Hospital in Glenwood.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Glenwood.
Visitation is from 5 to 7 p.m. today, with a rosary at 5 p.m. and a prayer service at 7 p.m., at the Hoplin-Hitchcock Funeral Home in Glenwood and one hour prior to the service Wednesday at the church.

He was born April 9, 1923, in Lidgerwood, N.D., to James and Elizabeth (Steinbaurer) Tauber. He grew up on a farm in Pope County and attended District 19 country school. He served as a medic in the United States Army from 1943 to 1945 and was stationed in Southern France, Africa and Germany.
He married Agatha Christman on May 14, 1947, in Glenwood. They lived on a farm north of Glenwood. He farmed his entire life and also was employed at Dyrstad Trucking in Glenwood for several years.
He was a member of the American Legion in Glenwood.
He is survived by his wife; sons: David (and Kathy) of Villard, Daniel (and Joann) of Villard and Timothy of Glenwood; daughters: Mary Tauber (and Michael Linehan) of Brookings, S.D., and Patricia (and Todd) Mikkelson of Willmar; grandchildren; a great-grandchild; sister: Helen Bahlmann of Lowry; and brothers: George (and Edna) Tauber of Glenwood, Leonard Tauber of Glenwood, James Tauber of Nelson and Eugene (and Sharon) Tauber of Glenwood.
He was preceded in death by a son; his parents and his stepmother, Christine; a brother; and two sisters.
