PAYNESVILLE -- High school and middle school students at Paynesville have the day off from school today due to a water main break at their school. Students were released at 9 a.m. today.
A 3-inch water line in the boys' locker room showers was broken, according to Don Mayer, building and grounds supervisor at the school. Damage was limited, but the water did cause some electrical problems in the locker room.
Repairs are expected to be completed today and school will resume tomorrow, he said.
