HAWICK -- A 25-year-old man was seriously injured Friday night in a one-vehicle rollover accident west of Hawick.
The Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Department received a report at 11:06 p.m. Friday of a one-vehicle rollover on Kandiyohi County Road 2, just south of County Road 33 in Roseville Township.
Sheriff's deputies found Corey Michael Wendlandt of rural Paynesville trapped under the overturned vehicle. Law enforcement officers and other citizens were able to lift the vehicle off of him.
Wendlandt was airlifted to St. Cloud Hospital, where he is in the intensive care unit. He was listed in critical condition Sunday night, according to the hospital nursing supervisor.
Assisting at the scene were the Minnesota State Patrol, New London Ambulance, New London Fire Department, Kandiyohi County Rescue Squad and the Willmar Ambulance.
