Paynesville's Chris Beier and Justin Butkofski were named to the Class AA Coaches Association All-State team, it was announced recently. Paynesville won the Class AA state title this past spring.
Beier, a senior right-handed pitcher and infielder, went 10-2 with a 3.34 ERA this season for the Bulldogs. He also batted .360 with 14 RBI.
Butkofski, a senior first baseman/pitcher, batted .389 this season with six home runs and 26 RBI. He also went 6-1 on the mound with a 1.47 ERA.
